Looking for efficient aerated concrete production equipment? Choose ZENITH and use our machines to manufacture this lightweight, porous silicate building material. These AAC blocks, or panels, have impermeability and fire resistance surpassing clay bricks, offering better overall performance and making them an alternative to traditional wall panels.
Aerated concrete is made from siliceous materials (sand, fly ash) and calcareous materials (lime, cement), and aluminum powder is also added to serve as a foaming agent. We can provide a complete production line for this product, encompassing batching, mixing, pouring, pre-curing, cutting, autoclaving, and curing.
Aerated concrete has a uniformly distributed network of fine pores. It has a density of 500-900 kg/m³, a fire resistance temperature of 650℃, a sound insulation performance of 41 dB (based on a 10mm thick wall), and a thermal conductivity of 0.11-0.16 W/mK.
When processing this material, you can choose to produce blocks or panels, and whether it is a non-load-bearing or load-bearing structure when it is actually put into use. If it is to be used as a load-bearing floor slab, it needs to be reinforced with steel bars.
The advantages of aerated concrete are as follows:
1. Lightweight: With a porosity of 70%~85%, its bulk density is generally 500~900 kg/m³, which is 1/5 of ordinary concrete, 1/4 of clay bricks, and 1/3 of hollow bricks, similar to wood, and it can float on water. This reduces the building's self-weight and significantly lowers the overall construction cost.
2. Fireproof: Most of the main raw materials are inorganic, thus possessing excellent fire resistance and not emitting harmful gases when exposed to fire. It is fire-resistant up to 650 degrees Celsius, classifying it as a Class A fire-resistant material. A 90mm thick wall has a fire resistance of 245 minutes, and a 300mm thick wall has a fire resistance of 520 minutes.
3. Sound Insulation: Due to its unique porous structure, it has a certain sound absorption capacity. A 10mm thick wall can achieve 41 decibels.
4. Thermal Insulation: Because the material has a large number of pores and micropores, it has excellent thermal insulation properties. The thermal conductivity is 0.11-0.16 W/MK, which is 1/4 to 1/5 that of clay bricks. Typically, the thermal insulation effect of a 20cm thick aerated concrete wall is equivalent to that of a 49cm thick ordinary solid clay brick wall.
5. Environmentally friendly: The manufacturing, transportation, and use processes are pollution-free, protecting arable land and saving energy, making it a green and environmentally friendly building material.
6. Durable: The material has stable strength. After one year of atmospheric exposure, the strength increased by 25%, and remained stable even after ten years.
7. Quick to process: It has good workability; it can be sawed, planed, drilled, and nailed, and can be bonded with suitable adhesives, creating favorable conditions for construction.
