Lightweight AAC Blocks are formed through high-pressure steam curing, this will help them to form a stable honeycomb structure. This structure is a very important foundation of their advantages, lightweight and high-strength. Furthermore, aerated concrete blocks offer thermal insulation, fire resistance, and sound insulation, making them suitable for energy-efficient buildings and lightweight structural engineering projects.
1. Lightweight: The blocks typically weigh 500-700 kg/m³, only 1/4-1/3 the weight of clay bricks and sand-lime bricks, and 1/5 the weight of ordinary concrete. They are among the lightest types of concrete, suitable for infill walls in high-rise buildings and load-bearing walls in low-rise buildings. They are also easier to transport and handle.
2. High Strength: The compressive strength of aerated concrete blocks is greater than 25 kg/cm².
3. Good Thermal Insulation: The porous structure provides excellent thermal and sound insulation properties, helping to save on heating and cooling energy.
4. High degree of mechanization: Precast aerated concrete assembly slabs can save on finished product storage space; save on masonry labor; reduce construction operations; speed up on-site construction progress and improve construction efficiency.
