Lightweight Concrete Blocks are lightweight, porous building materials that can be produced using ZENITH's concrete brick machines/aerated concrete molding machines. They possess properties such as heat insulation, fire resistance, sound insulation, earthquake resistance, and ease of processing. During production, the main raw materials are siliceous materials (sand and fly ash) and calcareous materials (lime and cement). The final product is obtained through a complete process of batching, mixing, pouring, cutting, and autoclaving. During processing, it is also necessary to add a foaming agent (aluminum powder).
1. Small hollow concrete blocks: Made with cement as the binder, and with the addition of lightweight aggregates such as ceramsite and slag. The hollowness is greater than 25%, and the density ranges from 700-1400 kg/m³. They are characterized by their light weight, good thermal insulation, and strong earthquake resistance, making them suitable for infill walls and non-load-bearing walls in frame structures.
2. Foamed Concrete Blocks (CLC Blocks): These blocks utilize a foaming process to create a microporous structure, resulting in a density only 30% that of clay bricks, while offering 3-4 times the thermal insulation capacity. They are commonly used for building infill walls, partitions, and roof insulation.
3. Environmentally Friendly Lightweight Concrete Blocks: These blocks are produced using a physical foaming process, eliminating the need for autoclaving. Made from cement, fly ash, and other raw materials, their technical performance is similar to that of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks.
